Gioved\u00ec 21 Febbraio, all’inizio della fashion week milanese, Pietro Negra, presidente del brand Pinko, e Franca Sozzani direttrice della rivista Vogue Italia hanno presentato la capsule collection Pinko Bag for Ethiopia con un cocktail event allo Studio Giangaleazzo Visconti di Corso Monforte.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Gli ospiti e le celebrities hanno potuto vedere e toccare con mano le iconiche borse del brand (Alzi la mano chi si ricorda il boom delle Pinko Bag nei primi anni 2000, ogni mese ne usciva un’edizione nuova ed erano talmente ambite da essere addirittura le borse pi\u00f9 contraffatte di quel periodo.) ri-editate per l’occasione da Marina Spadafora, designer sperimentale degli anni di fermento della moda milanese, ma che presto ha sentito il bisogno di rifondare i codici professionali e umani dell’intero sistema moda, intraprendendo la strada della sostenibilit\u00e0 per valorizzare le realt\u00e0 produttive nel Terzo Mondo.\u00a0
In linea con questa visione etica della moda, le sei varianti di Pinko Bag for Ethiopia sono realizzate in una fabbrica eco-sostenibile di Addis Abeba in cui lavorano solo donne. Il cotone utilizzato \u00e8 prodotto localmente ed \u00e8 decorato con\u00a0motivi grafici stampati ispirati alle pitture corporee delle popolazioni indigene della Valle dell’Omo (non ancora raggiunte dalla “civilizzazione” e a rischio estinzione), disegni particolari dalla valenza sociale che esprimono la personalit\u00e0 di ogni individuo, ma effimeri perch\u00e9 gli indigeni si tuffano nel fiume per pulirsi dei colori e disegnare nuove figure. <\/div>\n

A far da scenografia alla serata video proiezioni animate con i motivi decorativi delle borse; istallazioni sospese che ricordavano vagamente la serie dei “mobili” di Alexander Calder, ai quali erano appese le borse; oltre ai manichini realizzati con lo stesso tessuto stampato. Nell’ultima sala, pi\u00f9 intima e raccolta, un invito alla riflessione con la proiezione del docu-video del regista Jordan Stone girato tra le popolazioni etiopi.<\/div>\n
