{"id":3288,"date":"2015-11-12T15:38:40","date_gmt":"2015-11-12T13:38:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thefashioncommentator.com\/?p=3288"},"modified":"2023-10-01T12:00:43","modified_gmt":"2023-10-01T10:00:43","slug":"red-performance-thomas-de-falco","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thefashioncommentator.com\/it\/2015\/11\/red-performance-thomas-de-falco.html","title":{"rendered":"When art meets fashion: RED, il wrapping secondo Thomas De Falco"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Venerd\u00ec 13 novembre alle ore 19.30 l\u2019artista <strong>Thomas De Falco<\/strong> invade gli spazi del <strong>Museo Marino Marini<\/strong> di Firenze per presentare <strong>RED<\/strong>, la sua ultima performance e installazione tessile a cura di Laura Cherubini, con la collaborazione di EQUA di Camilla Morabito.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->RED \u00e8 un insieme di nodi e intrecci.<\/p>\n<p>RED \u00e8 una grande e solida radice di trama e ordito.<\/p>\n<p>RED \u00e8 una scultura in cotone, seta e lana, realizzata con la tecnica del wrapping, che mediando la pi\u00f9 antica arte della tessitura di arazzo a telaio verticale ne moltiplica incessantemente le catene dei nodi, creando un intreccio in cui De Falco chiede di \u201crimanere per sempre\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>RED \u00e8 il colore-leitmotiv-feticcio che accompagna l\u2019intera produzione artistica di De Falco sin dagli inizi, e in questa performance spicca come rado sprazzo vivace in mezzo all\u2019intricato wrapping completamente bianco.<\/p>\n<p>Con un sottofondo musicale eseguito da Umberto Turchi, Matteo Zecchi e Andrea Sernesi, accompagnato da un testo dello stesso Thomas De Falco, la performance RED si costruisce attorno i corpi di due donne, due uomini e due bambini collocati al centro dello spazio (Sabrina Querci, Eloisa Reverie Vezzosi, Olivier Langhendries, Jemberu Perucchini, Didi Folonari, Zeno Balich). I modelli sono avvolti da sottilissimi wrapping che collegando i piedi di tutti i soggetti e dipanandosi nella sala, creano una radice emozionale in cui far fluire il desiderio di comunione con gli altri.<\/p>\n<p>I soggetti, inizialmente immobili, in piedi, con gli occhi chiusi, modificano le loro posizioni attraverso una lenta e impercettibile mutazione dallo stato originario, fino a rimanere incastonati in un blocco scultoreo \u201ccomunitario\u201d, nel tentativo di congelare \u201ceternamente\u201d, in un raffinato tableau-vivant, l\u2019ideale romantico e ineluttabile dell\u2019amore umano.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>cosa: <strong>RED.
