Consuelo Castiglioni, svizzera di\u00a0origini cilene classe 1959, lancia Marni ufficialmente nel 1994 con\u00a0una collezione sperimentale dopo aver iniziato la sua attivit\u00e0 di\u00a0stilista come consulente per la pellicceria milanese Ciwi Furs\u00a0appartenente alla famiglia del marito Gianni Castiglioni.\u00a0<\/span>La novit\u00e0 consisteva nell’utilizzo\u00a0della pelliccia come un tessuto, eliminando fodere e ottenendo volumi\u00a0decostruiti dopo anni di spalline pronunciate.<\/div>\n

In poco tempo, alla collezione\u00a0invernale, fu affiancata la linea estiva, finch\u00e9 nel\u00a01999 Marni si afferm\u00f2 definitivamente come marchio indipendente.\u00a0Alle pellicce si aggiunsero tutti i\u00a0capi del guardaroba, che divennero universalmente riconoscibili per le sovrapposizioni di tessuti pregiati e gli stampati con motivi a fiori old fashion (dai bordi scuri molto\u00a0spessi), a righe materasso (larghe e verticali) o con grafiche astratte e\u00a0geometriche d’ispirazione anni ’50 e ’60.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

I contrasti di colore sono un altro elemento fondante della cifra stilistica di Marni: sulle tinte scure, prevalentemente nero, blu e grigio, si stagliano colori shocking e fluo, dal fucsia al giallo limone, ma non mancano anche i marroni e i verdi spesso tendenti al melma o all’olivastro.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Gli abiti e i completi dal look finto disordinato, originato dal mix and match di silhouette morbide e squadrate, sono spesso arricchiti da bigiotteria comprendente elementi di legno intagliati a mano o plastiche sagomate con forme geometriche o di fiori e foglie.<\/div>\n

Nel 2007, dopo le timide apparizioni\u00a0dal 2002, viene lanciata definitivamente la linea uomo,\u00a0declinando lo stile Marni in collezioni austere e dai toni scuri,\u00a0caratterizzate da silhouette oversized e squadrate, ravvivate da\u00a0stampe geometriche, floreali o tribali.<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n

A Settembre 2011 Marni ha annunciato la prima incursione nel mondo del beauty stringendo un accordo di licenza pluriennale con Est\u00e9e Lauder Companies per il business delle fragranze con il debutto del primo prodotto previsto per l\u2019autunno 2012.
\nInoltre, a fine Novembre 2011, Consuelo Castiglioni ha colto tutti di sorpresa cooperando con H&M per la collezione guest designer SS2012 per la quale dice di aver creato un completo guardaroba in stile Marni abbinando motivi tribali e grafiche Bauhaus con elementi funzionali e sportivi. Non ci resta che aspettare l’8 Marzo 2012 per scoprire la collezione in 260 punti vendita HeM.<\/div>\n
