\nElena Cristina Toma, rumena, classe
\n1978, \u00e8 la shoe-designer emergente del brand Toma. Nel 1998 si \u00e8
\ntrasferita a Milano per iniziare gli studi in fashion design
\nall’Istituto Burgo, e successivamente ha assistito per pi\u00f9 di sei
\nanni Mariuccia Mandelli alla prima linea della maison Krizia. In quel
\nperiodo ha maturato la scelta di voler realizzare qualcosa di
\nrealmente suo e che rispondesse alle tre caratteristiche fondamentali
\ndella scarpa dei sogni: bellezza, eleganza e comodit\u00e0. E’ cos\u00ec che
\nnel 2008, dopo ulteriori studi dedicati all’imprenditoria e al
\nmarketing, nasce il marchio di calzature TOMA.<\/span>

\n1978, is the emerging shoe designer of the brand Toma. In 1998 she
\nmoved to Milan to begin her studies in fashion design at the Burgo
\nInstitute. Then, for more than six years, became the personal
\nassistant of the great Mariuccia Mandelli, working with her at the
\nKrizia pret-\u00e0-porter line. Since then Elena Cristina wanted to
\ncreate something truly her own and that would involve the three
\nfundamental characteristics of the perfect shoe: beauty, elegance and
\ncomfort. So, after further studies on entrepreneurship and marketing,
\nin 2008 born the luxury footwear brand TOMA.<\/span>

Nel 1998 si \u00e8 trasferita a Milano per iniziare gli studi in fashion design all’Istituto Burgo, e successivamente ha assistito per pi\u00f9 di sei anni Mariuccia Mandelli alla prima linea della maison Krizia. In quel periodo ha maturato la scelta di voler realizzare qualcosa di realmente suo e che rispondesse alle tre caratteristiche fondamentali della scarpa dei sogni: bellezza, eleganza e comodit\u00e0. E’ cos\u00ec che nel 2008, dopo ulteriori studi dedicati all’imprenditoria e al marketing, nasce il marchio di calzature TOMA. Elena Cristina Toma, Romanian, born in 1978, is the emerging shoe designer of the brand Toma. In 1998 she moved to Milan to begin her studies in fashion design at the Burgo Institute. Then, for more than six years, became the personal assistant of the great Mariuccia Mandelli, working with her at the Krizia pret-\u00e0-porter line. Since then Elena Cristina wanted to create something truly her own and that would involve the three fundamental characteristics of the perfect shoe: beauty, elegance and comfort. So, after further studies on entrepreneurship and marketing, in 2008 born the luxury footwear brand TOMA. FW 2011 collection Le calzature Toma sono raffinate e si distinguono per la preziosit\u00e0 dei pellami esotici e l’ottima fattura artigianale esclusivamente italiana, sono infatti realizzate nel famosissimo distretto calzaturiero di Parabiago, nel Milanese. Altro elemento fondante dello stile Toma \u00e8 l’uso del colore, ispirato ai contrasti cromatici presenti in natura: acqua e scogli, roccia e muschio, terra ed ossido, legno e foglie.
