\nand never as this year there has been a more appropriate setting<\/b>
\nfor the Fortezza da Basso: “Wonderfood!<\/b>“. The
\nentrance square has become a large field of wheat<\/b>, dotted
\nwith scarecrows wearing the creations of 30 selected brands<\/b>. The
\nsquare in front of the central pavilion, usually besieged by
\ninternational photobloggers, this year has a fruit and vegetable
\nstall<\/b>. Nearby, the “New Beats” pavilion (usually
\ndedicated to the new brands), has been turned into a huge barn
\nwith lots of animals and corn shocks<\/b>. It’s the celebration of
\nfood, of the countryside, but it seems more a reference to Kansas and
\n“Dorothy with the Wonderful Wizard of Oz<\/b>“.<\/span><\/div>\n

\nmoment of the morning inside the Fortezza was the dance of eight
\nMaasai warriors in the stand of the great men’s taylor Stefano Ricci<\/b>.
\nContrary to what you may think, it wasn’t a trivial marketing tactic:
\nthe eight warriors came expressly from Tanzania to testify their
\ngratitude to the Ricci family. Stefano Ricci in fact, through music
\nand song, has peacefully re-united two tribes who didn’t interact for
\nseveral decades and in 1999 he has been appointed as Maasai chieftain
\nin Simanjiro. The Olorash chieftain<\/b> ( from Monduli area, near
\nArusha, Tanzania), sent his warriors to honor Stefano Ricci during
\nhis 40th anniversary fashion show at the Uffizi Gallery<\/b>.<\/span><\/div>\n

\nand craftsmanship, with the Nordic vision<\/b>. A very black
\ncollection made of interesting details like geometrical side-holes
\nand velvet laces for the shoes; precious and refined leather;
\nprecious and finally special suspenders that seem corsets. Visiting
\nthe stand of the participants, I have been fascinated by the eclectic
\ncollection of Andrea Cammarosano<\/b>, which received an honor mention
\nby Yoox.com. Soon I will speak about him in a special post because

\nDJ set and cocktail, to inaugurate the ‘Icons from Woodstock’
\nphotographic exhibition<\/b>, organized in collaboration with Magnum
\nPhotos. It was an exclusive selection of pictures taken by the
\nAmerican artist and photographer Elliot Landy, known as the official
\nphotographer of Woodstock<\/b>. The exhibition was just a chance to
\nre-live an era that marked the history of music and pop culture. For
\nthe fans of the genre, the photos will be on display till June 23rd
\nin the Emporio Armani boutique in Piazza Strozzi.<\/span><\/div>\n

E’ la celebrazione del cibo, della campagna, anche se sembra pi\u00f9 un rimando al Kansas di “Dorothy and the Wonderful Wizard of Oz”.           The most interesting moment of the morning inside the Fortezza was the dance of eight Maasai warriors in the stand of the great men’s taylor Stefano Ricci. Contrary to what you may think, it wasn’t a trivial marketing tactic: the eight warriors came expressly from Tanzania to testify their gratitude to the Ricci family. Stefano Ricci in fact, through music and song, has peacefully re-united two tribes who didn’t interact for several decades and in 1999 he has been appointed as Maasai chieftain in Simanjiro. The Olorash chieftain ( from Monduli area, near Arusha, Tanzania), sent his warriors to honor Stefano Ricci during his 40th anniversary fashion show at the Uffizi Gallery. Stefano Ricci infatti, grazie alla musica e ai canti, ha unificato pacificamente due trib\u00f9 che non si parlavano da decenni e nel 1999 \u00e8 stato nominato capo Masai a Simanjiro. Er\u0457k Bjerkesj\u00f6 is a Swedish designer who mixed the Italian tailoring and craftsmanship, with the Nordic vision. A very black collection made of interesting details like geometrical side-holes and velvet laces for the shoes; precious and refined leather; precious and finally special suspenders that seem corsets. Visiting the stand of the participants, I have been fascinated by the eclectic collection of Andrea Cammarosano, which received an honor mention by Yoox.com. Giorgio Armani has opened the Emporio Armani shop until evening, delighting guests with DJ set and cocktail, to inaugurate the ‘Icons from Woodstock’ photographic exhibition, organized in collaboration with Magnum Photos. It was an exclusive selection of pictures taken by the American artist and photographer Elliot Landy, known as the official photographer of Woodstock. The exhibition was just a chance to re-live an era that marked the history of music and pop culture. For the fans of the genre, the photos will be on display till June 23rd in the Emporio Armani boutique in Piazza Strozzi.
