Minimalistic attire with plastic shapes and geometric volumes. The jacket cuffs seem to be inflated, reshaping the shoulders line, enlarging the proportions and creating a strong contrast between the slim pants or skirts. Manuel Facchini at Byblos is certainly the “standard-bearer” of this trend presenting a space-woman with a sort of metamorphic clothes, mixing classic soft lines and high tech, edgy shapes. Cuts, seams and applications let Gaetano Navarra experience a new concept of space with exquisite baroque floral scrolls, while Marco De Vincenzo uses white sculptural cuts to shape the silhouette of the jacket. Finally, Gabriele Colangelo and Raf Simons for Jil Sander are inspired by contemporary art with reminiscences of some abstract compositions or the famous cuts by Lucio Fontana. Un altro trend della stagione Autunno Inverno 2012 sono gli abiti scultura, ovvero abiti minimali dalle forme plastiche che sembrano quasi volumi geometrici. Le maniche delle giacche si gonfiano e ridisegnano il profilo delle spalle, ingrandendo le proporzioni e creando un forte contrasto con le linee slim dei pantaloni o delle gonne. Baluardo di questo trend è sicuramente Manuel Facchini per Byblos che per la sua donna spaziale crea abiti-metamorfosi tra capi classici e high tech con linee morbide, ma allo stesso tempo forti e taglienti come quelle dei baveri e dei colli.  Tagli, cuciture e applicazioni esperiscono un nuovo concetto di spazialità con raffinati barocchismi come le volute floreali di Gaetano Navarra o le linee che sagomano la silhouette della giacca di Marco de Vincenzo. Dalla reinterpretazione del passato si arriva fino all’arte contemporanea con Colangelo e Jil Sander che rispettivamente ricordano composizioni astratte negli stampati e i tagli di Lucio Fontana nelle forme.
