As you know, I’m not used to publish “image posts”, but today I want to pay an homage to my first fashion myth. Today is the 15th anniversary of the death of Gianni Versace. I have a lot of childhood memories linked to him and his world seeing fashion shows on TV (yes, in the 90’s there were famous fashion shows on Italian tv and not that kind of nowadays-trashy-things) or looking at my mother magazines. I can definitely say his eclectic, artistic, dreamy and classical style was the reason why I fell in love with fashion. Come ben sapete, non pubblico mai post di sole immagini, ma oggi voglio rendere omaggio al mio primo mito della moda. Oggi è il quindicesimo anniversario della scomparsa di Gianni Versace. Ho molti ricordi d’infanzia legati a lui ed al suo mondo, visto attraverso le sfilate che trasmettevano in Tv (Sì, negli anni 90 in tv si trasmettevano le sfilate e non tutto il trash pomeridiano dei giorni nostri) o sfogliando le riviste di moda che mia madre impilava sul tavolo da caffè. Posso dire con certezza che l’immaginario eclettico, artistico, onirico e classicheggiante di Gianni Versace è il mio primo ricordo legato alla moda ed il motivo per cui mi sono appassionato ad essa.
