Milan Fashion Week – ANTEPRIMA Spring Summer 2013 Fashion Show

As always, the Anteprima fashion show is one of the main “evening events” of the Milan fashion week official calendar. This time the Italian-Japanese brand has announced that will celebrate soon its 20th anniversary with two capsule collections in collaboration with the emerging fashion designer Ezumi Yasutoshi and the jewel designer Matthew Campbell Laurenza.
As you can easily imagine, the parterres of the Anteprima fashion shows are characterized by a huge number of Japanese guests, and it’s not so extra-ordinary seeing such elegant scenes like a whole row of men standing up as a sign of respect for a lady. This makes you feel as in another dimension, so far from the Italian-fashion-week-circus.
The show begins. Self-confident women without flashy make-up or particular hairstyles parade on the catwalk. Their own personality and naturalness are their strengthThe creative director Izumi Ogino for the Spring Summer 2013 collection designed fresh, minimal and sophisticated looks, inspired by the elegance of the 70s. The classic palazzo pants or pleated skirts-pants, are matched with double layer silk blouses, high-tech knitted tops, or transparent masculine shirts. The soft high-waisted silhouettes play with the visual impact of color contrasts: pink/white, pink/blue, yellow/gray and then total black. The platinum accessories become precious points of light such as the mini belts, heeled sandals or the iconic wirebag, studded with beads.

Final catwalk with sequin shower
At the end of the show a cascade of sequins has awakened the “child side” of the audience, that jumped onto the catwalk, not resisting the temptation of taking pictures under a magic shower of shooting stars.

  1. non solo le modelle non hanno bisogno di trucco, gli abiti giocano tutto su uno studiato taglio essenziale ed una linea morbida. Qualsiasi fronzolo in più stonerebbe ( molto giapponese)
