Pitti W Special Event – La Petite Robe di Chiara Boni Fall Winter 2014

In the late morning of a quiet sunny day in January, while the Fortezza da Basso in Florence is teeming with stylish men seeking to be photographed, the dark hall of the Dogana in Via Valfonda has been transformed into a secret garden looking like a small corner of paradise on earth and by a white curtain opened on a huge garden of peonies comes out the Chiara Boni’s “petal-women”. Finally, after a long time passed preparing the Roman high fashion collections and the Milan prêt-a-porter ones, Chiara Boni is back in Florence with a special event for the 13th edition of Pitti Woman, in which she presents her “La Petite Robe di Chiara Boni“ fall winter 2014 collection.

As in a fairytale garden, between frogs (maybe princes?) and flying insects, the lycra outfits by Chiara Boni enchant the audience of buyers and clients, among which there are her best friends, who immediately applauded at the sight of ruching and ruffles that created very particular silhouettes similar to corollas of flowers.

The color palette explores the main shades of pink such as geranium, powder and nude, both in solid colors or in combination with black. The attention to detail, finally, is not limited to the cut of the clothes, but goes through accessories such as the retro bonnets or the shoes produced under license by the Florentine NR Rapisardi footwear brand with the same fabrics of La Petite Robe dresses, emphasizing once again the strong bond between Chiara Boni and her hometown.

  1. Mi piace molto come hai iniziato il post, hai davvero reso l’idea dell’atmosfera che si respirava quel giorno!
    Mi è piaciuta molto la collezione, anche se forse la sfilata è stato un pochino troppo lunga..molte uscite con vari temi..Mi sono piaciuti molto gli abiti lunghi, mentre li vedevo sfilare davanti ai miei occhi mi immaginavo dove e come li avrei indossati..forse dovevo dare un bacio a uno di quei ranocchi e vedere se si trasformava nel principe azzurro per portarmi al ballo con un abito preso nel backstage!

  5. Questi abiti sono spettacolari. Riescono ad essere tremendamente sexy senza scoprire troppa pelle. Chic, anzi, chicchissimi!! Se fossi ricchissima, altissima e magrissima li vorrei tutti (ecco.. se fossi un altra persona, via XD)
