The return of Alessandro Dell’Acqua to the menswear with his first N°21 fall winter 2014 men collection was one of the most awaited events of the 85th edition of Pitti Uomo. The Neapolitan fashion designer as a phoenix has flown once again over the “menswear Olympus” drawing the attentions of the most representative fashion journalists who came to watch his new debut in the reading room of the Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale in Florence.

With this first collection Alessandro Dell’Acqua defines the ideal profile of a multi-faceted man whose intimate wealth appears in the eclectic contrasts of shapes, materials and colors as already seen in the female N°21 line. This is a fresh and fashionable collection that looks inside the souls of all the kinds of contemporary men, re-interpreting their tastes, needs, secrets and passions into 21 outfits that meet their most unconscious desires.

In the mix of multifaceted personalities we can recognize for first the fashionisto guy who wears maxi sole shoes and neoprene N°21 logoed sweatshirt while is waiting to be photographed at the entrance of a fashion show or dances at an after party in Milan; then is the turn of the alternative hipster, who wears parka with cloth inserts, plaid shirts and oversized sweaters; you can’t miss the intellectual kind of guy, who prefers tailored jackets, refined knitwear and trousers with pleats; then the bad boy, wearing a black leather jacket and deeply red items, with an almost punk mood; the good preppy guy, who attended the best universities of the Ivy League, and when he is not on the sports field with the horses beaded varsity jacket, you can find him browsing books in the library, wearing classic shirts under angora striped sweaters; and finally the dandy type, with his exhausting research of outstanding details such as the rhinestone socks, the fur duffle coat, the soft angora sweaters and the suits made of lace, the sensual material inherited from the women’s collection, doubled with cotton or wool to give it the strenght of a men’s fabric.

Collezione e brand che amo. Alessandro Dell’Acqua ci sa fare, è innegabile. Ed ha anche capito che con l’eleganza dei suoi capi può arrivare molto lontano.

Innanzitutto la location era davvero spettacolare e l’idea di ambientare l’evento lì, con gli schermi con sopra immagini della collezione, tavoli in legno, ecc, è stata davvero una genialata.
Detto questo, la collezione mi è piaciuta tantissimo. Come hai detto anche tu è molto versatile e adatta ad ogni tipo di uomo. Bella bella, pollice in su!

Una collezione fantastica che sai quanto abbia apprezzato vero Ale? Vista grazie a tutto.
Ma quello che mi preme dirti è che apprezzo molto il fatto che tu abbia usato immagini personali ( per quanto tu non avessi con te una super mega reflex) e non immagini che potevano essere trovate facilmente in rete. Il tuo punto di vista reportagistico si evince anche dalle immagini che contribuiscono a rendere questo articolo non uno dei tanti. un bacio

Una collezione davvero per tutti i gusti!!
Anche a me piace, come sempre, l’uso delle immagini che fai..mi piace leggere le recensioni di sfilate/presentazioni su blog come il tuo perché dai sempre un’idea tua personale e anche attraverso le immagini rendi l’idea di ciò che hai visto e provato! E poi io davvero non so che magia fai tu ai cellulari perché i tuoi fanno sempre delle fotografie super..le facessi con il mio ci sarebbe da mettersi le mani nei capelli!
Ultima cosa, la location era spettacolare, il bello di Pitti è anche questo, qui a Firenze spesso l’arte si unisce con la moda!

dalle tue foto ho visto quanta cura dei particolari e buon gusto ci sia in questa collezione, capi assolutamente freschi che riportano in auge anche pezzi non proprio all’avanguardia, quali i maglioni della nonna, resi “simpatici” da cappottini bicolori o in faux fur!
Davvero una collezione, degna di nota!
La collezione mi piace moltissimo (dateci più uomini vestiti così!): eviterei solo la pelliccia, capo che io non amo nel menswear! (questione di gusti, ovvio!)

Wow Ale, che bella esperienza e che location fantastica! Poi lo sai io sono sempre pro Alessandro Dell’Acqua.
Comunque mi sembra una bella collezione, nessuna invenzione stilistica o sartoriale forse però capi molto interessanti e poi l’idea di immaginare varie tipologie maschili è divertente. Scommetto che tu t’identifichi col dandy 😉
